a splicer friend of mine working on the new time warner rebuild of old comcast systems in the dallas area told me that this was a definite possibility. it was a 3 fold reason........go all digital, save bandwidth, and stop theft. makes sense to me. sounds like a good way to compete with the quality conscious consumer, add features, and save/make money. i'm sure someone will argue with me about those points, but that's what i told.
