How would it not be the primes fault ? The prime contracted with the subs to perform the work, not TWC. Ya wanna be a prime ? take some effin responsibility.
Maybe it's time for the MSO's to take notice of the techs that produce professional work product and just simply eliminate the middle man. It would be direct accountability for work product.
Problem is The MSO pays out lets say $150+ (this being a low figure) for a triple play. The Prime pays out 50% to the sub, and if you have some pimp wanna be contractor he's paying 50% out to his ho's which means down the line some poor slob is getting paid $37.50 for the same triple play the MSO is paying $150 for and scratching their heads saying "we pay $150 for this work and it looks like $37.50 worth of work product, we need to lower our prices"
I know that if a tech was getting paid $150+ plus line items for a one box triple play and was only doing three a day the overall quality of work in this industry would skyrocket, and those unable to perform quality work would quickly be weeded out.
