Re: My how things vary from state to state

we have people in my shop that do dish out of compact cars. makes me sad and a little angry when i get the call at night "hey how tall is your ladder again?" like they forgot. but the answer to the question is yes. rates haven't kept up with inflation, especially fuel and copper, while the sow has increased limiting production without the risk of chargeback. it's a triple whammy for the contractor and it has me looking at several other options. had i not been tought from the start that it was REQUIRED to have proper equipment and to know the pleasure of a well stocked and equipped rig, then i too would probably be driving arouind like a rocket launcher. when i started you had 3 days to get a truck, tools, and ladder to run your own jobs. period.
