when i first started doing installs, i told my wife about something along those lines............"honey, it's amazing we have to make everything right when we go out no matter what, so everytime someone doesn't pay their bill and then gets cut back on they are guaranteed perfect service, but if you've been paying your bill for 10 years the cable just rots and you have to PAY to get it fixed!" that still blows me away. oh well, new subs keep my kids full. but it still doesn't make sense.
