You sure like to complain, but you don't seem interested in using the power of this forum to find a solution. I suggested in a pm and East211 also suggested that you log into your modem (192.168.100.1) and report the upstream & downstream levels and the SNR. Most of the time, you can see what the trouble is with these. For example, if a new drop seemed to make your problem worse, maybe you are over driving the modem. This would show high receive and low transmit levels and low SNR. If your levels are good, they can always be tweaked. You initially stated that you had to power cycle your modem often to get a connection. How long does it take for the modem to sync. Does your IP address change each time? Does your modem lose sync? Answer these questions, and I can probably tell you what is wrong.
