Had an offer from an entreprenuer that was in to alternative fuels. Thought he could convert the turtle excrement into deisel fuel for VolksWagons. Should have taken the offer. Found out that these turtles need to be in water most of the time as they wont even eat unless they are in water. Makes it kinda tough when your ranch is the Arizona desert!?! No wonder i couldn't keep one alive for more than a week when i used to catch them in the river back in Illinois! Damn!! I wonder if i could paint a desert tortoise and get away with it?! Truth in advertiseing= it would definately be a "painted" turtle!!! Ah, yes, the plans of Mice and Men! Back to the drawing board! Later, Mike M.
