the term" cable dawg" who started it?

hello, when i started in "74" we were called "linemen" not dawgs.i am still a "lineman". first bucket truck i used was in anchorage, A K. 1981. have a good day
looking for any one who worked for commco const.out of austin,tex.in the late 60's or the 70's thank you
