Re: Retainage

I didn't include it my 1099 but the thing is alot of these companies can sit on the money make interest off it and tell you what ever they want to, oh we haven't got ours yet, still cleanup to do etc. 99% of the companies I have worked for in the past have paid, once I lost about $1200 because the manager said I didn't give a 30 day notice (which I did but not in writing shame on me) and he seemed to have selective amnesia when the 30 days where up. Now adays its getting really shakey because of the low balling prices there figure they'll make it up by keeping the 10%
