I agree with the pride thing.. I've been working for this cable company for about 3 years now, both has over the phone tech support and installer.. I'm curently an installer and notice when i go to jobs both for trouble calls or installs whether that previous person takes pride in their job or not.. I would like to say most of the techs i work with do take pride in their job and company for they treat us very well.. But we just bought a plant from another company and noticed that the techs from there are more worried about upselling and making commision then doing the job right.. I'm glad to say we dont upsell... i hope we're on the same page.. If you dont have pride in what you do, i think its best to find a different job so you dont make everyone else look bad.
