Re: are installers "dawgs"?

Cable Dawgs are those of us who have paid there dues. I was once an installer 23 years ago and worked my way up in the industry. Many of the old Dawgs will tell you the stories about living on the road and ruffing is in tents and campers working the storms.

Many of the old Dawgs will also tell you the stories of the 300' pole that they had to climb and it was up hill both ways to get there and when they got to the top of the pole there was a bear that they had to kill with some lashing wire and a pair of nines.

At the end of the day a Cable Dawg has paid there dues and can tell the tallest tail in the job site.

So if ya gata ask what a Dawg is chances are you are still a pup. But dont worry chances are you will be a big dog some day.
