The 1000+ doesn't receive any higher signal than the 1000 from my experience. The 129 bird is still in the 70's. Plus you can't isolate the 129 with a meter as you could with the 1000. The company I sub for supplied us with the adapter which allows you to places 3 lnbs in the 110, 119, and 129 slots to allow signal isolation with the meter, but let's face it, sometimes it isn't safe to try to maneuver that swap out.
