I was working in a headend in Cedar City Utah last week and I noticed the data light was not lit on the OM 1000 but when I went to the DCT it was incrementing messages and had a data lock at 75.25 MHZ. Weird!! so it was working!!
I would throw in an IRT and go to your HMS and take off your primary and put the IRT on as the primary. (can't have two primarys) Even if you don't have video on the irt you will have the data tunnel. Just configure a new irt . Don't forget to wire up to the e-switch. This is provided that you are in a NAS environment. You can make this happen in a DAC too.
Hope this helps you.
