you are so wrong...If you have a good group of techs you don't have to drive 250-miles...$30 in gas yep...and I write off 48 cents per mile at the end of the year..I don't pay taxes all year and write everything off to break even on taxes..As far as materials go hell 90% of all homes are pre-wired and between Mover connections where a dish is already there and DirecTV switching customers switching to Dish or Dish to DTV
Mounting bracket and lines dropped to pre-wire are already there. of course you are gonna have Installs from Hell,but the difference is the cable guy gets $30 for that Install and the Sat guys get $140.
$250 of materials will do approx 35-jobs...Even if they were all only 1-Box installs @ $80 you do the math... 3-Installs per day 5 days a week minimum $1500....Cable guy needs to do 15-S/C a day to make the same money
