Stay out of the rich upper class neighborhoods...they generally don't trust dtd sales people. My best luck has always been in the lower end areas (and the people usually treat you with more respect than rich people). Get ready for a lot of evening and weekend work. Gotta knock on doors when people are home. Offer rewards for referrals - that usually works well. Good Luck.
