Re: disability help

On this board there seems to be different definitions of independent contractor. If you are self-employed and have actual contracts with your customer(s), then you are only entitled to what you pay into.
If you are working for a company (and they just aren't withholding taxes from your check), then it is very likely that you are entitled to disability or workers comp.
