Yes this should help drive up the installers pay in those new markets. A smart cookie would be contacting them in the known new roll-out areas and be asking questions about meeting the installation demands. The iptv installs I have seen will require alot of time to do as its a whole new rewire,very doubtful you'll be using any existing wire. Compitition is a good thing for the workers,bad for the cable companies.Not only will they not monopolize the market but they'll also not monopolize the pay scale.
