It is not the choice of wire but who pays for it. And the labor also. Existing wire is what is going in.
I start each job by showing the basic installation and what it will cover. Some say that will look lilke crap and cancel at the door. Most can lve with what the free installatioin offers. I used to offer a ninty day guarantee on my work but ws told to stop because the HSP folks want to sell their protection plan..........28days out on service calls around here.
Anyone doing satellte work now can pride themselves on knowing that, while they may not be the best tech available, they are the cheapest. Skip eating every other day so the boxes will be activated. Food or fittings! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
