It is one thing to negotiate that better contract WHILE your still needed. One must consider however, the fact that most of these problematic companies, don't care if you've educated yourself more.
And heres why,
1. They know that if your not happy there is an over abundance of fresh bodies for the grind.
2. The rate in which you are currently being paid can get 2 unexperienced bodies, that yes, may and will make mistakes and will cause some chargebacks but will be cover by said bodies.
Or a more experienced tech will go out and fix it for the cost of a TC and the prime or contractor will charge back the FULL install and pay that TC price out. Therfore allowing said company more of a profit margin.
It's called doing installs for trouble call prices.
We won't even go into the illegal workers.
