As a factoring company representative, I deal in many industries, not just cable/sat. If you think your industry is unique in the pitfalls and problems that I read of in this forum, trust me you are just like everyone else. I'm sure you realize this, just emphasizing a point.
Independent contractors across the spectrum of industry in this country are unfortunately subjected to the same B.S. I can't even begin to tell you of the horror stories faced by owner/operators of big rig trucks. Between non-paying "fly-by-night" freight brokers and NAFTA, they've got everybody beat !!!
