Personally, I predict day laborers on bicycles using pruning poles to do disco's.
The MSO's have discovered that underpaid, overworked, and un-skilled installers provide work that is marginal enough to bring the subscribers service, yet shoddy enough so that they may back charge the contractors and get a decent percentage of their installs done gratis.
If you think that this is not a thought out business plan, think again. How many times have we worked in the same plant with other contractor groups that are complete and utter hacks, yet are able to one way or another continue to work as if they are doing no wrong.
All about the bottom dollar my man. And not yours.
