Re: Bank of America offering credit cards to illeg

Just payed them off. I was in between two credit cards to pay off with recent windfalls so I decided to pay B.O.A. half off while I evaluated credit cards. Sent them $1500 payment,they sent me notice they was jacking my rate to 27.99%!!!!!!! Of course I called and lamented on my effort to lower monthly payments explaining my large payment their reply "tough luck,your credit is what it is" . I had slated the other money for an April vacation to 6 flags but after seeing the news decided not to support them at all and payed them off. I'll refuse to do business with this company forever and hope many more choose to do the same. Thanks to Bank Of America my family will not have a summer vacation but at least we dont support them anymore.
