a lot of people are missing the reason for the digital transition. it has nothing to do with picture quality, it is to save over the air bandwidth allowing the government to re-reallocate that bandwidth for emerging technologies.......more licenses i'm sure equals more money and a new range of technologies means new industries and tax dollars...........bottom line is money.
