Re: Has anyone though of a Co-op?

i've never considered a co-op as a business model for work, but at least for satellite i've considered it for purchase power where drop materials are concerned.........everyone pays a small fee to make sure that the orders, pickups and deliveries can be made and you get your materials straight from the top tier distributors and manufacturers rather than the wholesalers.

the major hurdle that i've noticed is that although i buy in bulk and pass that on to guys around the shop, half the people wanting materials can't watch their money enough to pay out even $200 for cable at half what the prime sells it to them for.......they'd rather let it come out of their check for half the product so i'm not sure how you could get enough indiviual installers.........probably have to be done between shop management at least in the beginning.......but i doubt i'll ever see it.
