I pay my employees piece rate and OT . The hard part is setting teh rates so the quicker techs do not get penalized for being quick . How i do it is I fatcor my week on a 60 hr week. 5 pay everyone Ot even if they did not work it. A guy who works 48 hrs then knows he will get 12 hours OT added so his piece rate is exactly teh same as the guy who works 55 hrs. that guy gets 5 hrs OT. Everyone at end of week gets paid for 60 hours even though they did not work it. You dont get penalized for paying techs more money and everyone is happy and you can keep teh rates teh same for everyone
