This picture is of The Beaufort Inlet , The Atlantic Ocean , Beach front of Atlantic Beach Ft.Macon , Housing Quarters for the Coastguard at Ft .Macon and The Civil War Fort , Ft.Macon skirted by the Atlantic Ocean and Beaufort . This is only one of the reasons I have selected my home town for the college and the tourney. Yesterday I met again with Perry Harker with the College. We discussed many things , one being my presentation of Janet Lacey's Historical Scrapbook as Well as Photographs and Caricatures of Mr. Lacey once President of General Electric Tool and Die , as well as a weading album from a deceased Mobster . Duck is successfully trying to accomplish many things . In discussion with Mr. Harker yesterday we touched on many points of a new circilliam which would not only include classes and certification for not only cable , but telephone , power and water , with opportunities such as on the job placements with all the industrys . By Monday I will submit to him and Mayor Darrel Garner listings of all categories of schooling and certifications of chosen industrys into which the programs will be entered.
I spoke with Jerry Macon owner of Ft.Macon Marina on Atlantic Beach N.C. he declined the use of his Marina as the Host. Citeing the inconvience to his some 400 costumers at the marina. He did say he would be a sponsor of the tourney though . On my way off the Beach I stopped by the Stacy fishing center to see Captn. Sonny Davis the owner , his wife sent me to their house where I met with Sonny , his son Captn. Marice Davis and Captn. David Spickett , Sonny has agreed to Host the Top Hook out of the Stacy fishing Center provided I jump through and Organize a few things first . I am going to Run a Split Tourney , meaning , the Professional Corporate Sponsored Fisherman , and the Novice , two Divisions . I still have quite a bit of leg work to accomplish , the Charity proceeds of this tournament will be Donated to the Children of Carteret County through Parks and Rec. to develop and improve places and programs provided to the Children by the State here.
