The Mastec complaints on this site cover more than Sat. It's how their HQ instruct their local offices to operate. In CA, their FTTP work is a joke, and have been shutdown (aka kicked out and then reinstated) several times already....
Be very careful of what you agree to with them, and get it in writing from HQ BEFORE you start work. Their local managers will promise you the moon....
