Best time for me is the last Sunday, early in the a.m. Get there before the streets get filled, find a place to park, check out the bike parade that starts at nine. Then wander main st. and hit the vendors that are trying to make their last sales before they pack and split.
Prolly not as exciting as the nights but then, I am older......
