Here is how I put hd on my system,I use Blonder tongue hd down converters and up converters,I down convert 8vsb to if and up convert 8 vsb to uhf channels in my upper passband,I don't charge my extended basic customers anything for it,its cheap, its simple and I don't have to fool with high $ boxes. Most of the most recent hd tvs will pick up both cable and hd. I set the boxes on cable channels but very few tvs would pick them up.Also most tvs that work with this type system have 2 inputs and we split to both inputs. It costs about $600 per channel.I bought them from Toner. It works past my roll off. Let me know if I can help.Chuck
