I'd have to disagree with that, once upon a time the majority of systems were small Ma and Pa run businesses who hired like contractors, where problems could be worked out and agreed upon with a handshake. Now it's huge corporations who don't care about the guy in the office/field or the quality of the work, the only thing they care about is how much money is going to change hands or are they going to meet the deadline. As someone else said, we've taken so many steps back that any forward progress seems like things are looking up.
