I personally have both in my bag of tricks, I only use the Superbuddy when it comes to the commercial side of the house. It is built like a brick sh*t house, is upgradeable, gives carrier to noise ratio, dB levels, target identification and verification, lnb testing, individual transponder testing, bitrate error. Like I said, only meter I use. The Birddog has a place in my box of retired meters.
