Re: Duck needs some info men?

We got hit in southern IL with the one in early December (3rd). Actually missed me by about 6 miles. Got a nice glazing of ice and a few snapped branches, but only lost power for several hours the first night of the storm--nothing some candles and a fireplace couldn't fix. Ten miles away my Dad was without power for 5 days. Still has the power pole tied up temporarily with stakes and rope until the ground firms up. My sister was out a little longer than that. It wasn't terribly cold at the time, but it got down to 45 degrees or so in her house and left her with an aquarium full of dead fish. Just heard a story on the news that a couple towns in Nebraska (I think) have been without power for 3 weeks from this last storm.
