Re: Fiber Drop Bury In Maryland?

Yes, it was Winn Caribe, Beacon, whatever they called themselves that day. What an abortion all that turned out to be! It was after Adelphia shut down. I believe most of McGaheysville was built pre-shutdown, so it hung around for awhile, till they started back up. As screwed up as that bunch was, I was still able to make some decent scratch off the sweep. Good thing I saw the writting on the wall and got off the Beacon boat before it sunk. I was one of the fortunate ones who received all their money. I hear quite a few weren't so lucky. Were you with S&N down in NC? I used to work for Tele-Media, back in the early 90's, and S&N did a lot of phone work in the Welcome area. They would do our pole transfers and they would handle it like phone, kinking the hell out of it in the process. They definitely made a lot of illegals happy on their u/g crews. Southside Winston-Salem turned into little Tijuana, and I think half of them worked for S&N. (bounce)
