Check your history bud. Ross Perot was the one trying to WARN America about NAFTA. Ross is the one warning of "....you hear that sucking sound?? That's all the American jobs and money leaving the country". ....THAT was Ross Perot ... Independent candidate for US President.

Bill Clinton and all of HIS crony's in the democratic party pushed that crap through.

As for the Peso story ........More power to that business. Just look at the break down on the numbers .... If that pizza joint charges 12-pesos to equal 1-dollar and the exchange rate is 10-to-1 ........they guy is making a free dollar for every 5-bucks given in exchange.

It's a marketing ploy to announce to the Mexican community in that city that they want more Mexican business. The article even states that they intend to STOP the promotion at the end of February...... So what do they end up with by taking in Pesos?? Higher profit for themselves, more business in their target demographic, free advertising on LOTS of Texas news outlets, and higher customer loyalty in their product simply by acknowledging that they have a strong ethnic following.

Smart business IMO.
