I never said they didnt exist!! Its definitely out there!! I just said I was willing to bet that because hes one who feels a noose is a 'traditional' use of rope, I had a feeling the music he was referring to wasnt racist. Just a hunch, I understand theres a strong possibilty Im wrong. I base this on the fact that I know people who feel that EVERY rap song contains these type of lyrics.

Then you have the issue of what if someone feels that type of language is 'traditional' becaue thats the way everyone talks in their neck of the woods, just as someone may feel the use of that rope was 'traditional' because its widely used in their neck of the woods. IMO, both do not fit the guidelines of what is considered professional and appropiate for the workplace.

Like I said in my post, neither vulgar or racist music should be tolerated in the workplace. At home is a different story, do as you please.
