It varies from contractor to contractor and state to state. The best way to get a fix on pricing is to have one of your friends call the contractor you are thinking about doing the work for and ask for a ballpark price on different senarious of different types of wiring on different types of housing , wether its a unfinished new construction , or an existing completed structure. If you take a composite price your leaving yourself open to alot of varibles , and you deffinately need to know what they are . Most legit contractors have a price sheet for what they are willing to pay. If your bidding against another company , call them and run the game on them , get their prices, then decide what you are willing to work for , figure in for everything you have to pay out or in the end you will not make any money or you will go into a hole . Generally its wire footage ,outlets , wall fishes , attic crawls and on and on . You got to know the game or you will be losing money. I hope these words of wisdom from the school of hard knocks helps you .
