Well, when the call is just, the citizens will answer. I defer back to post 911. All four branches of service met their recruitment goals after 9/11. In fact, it was not until 2005 that the Army didn't meet its recruitment goals. So, it is evident that "young people" are willing to serve this nation when the call is just. However, as it is becoming more and more apparent that this war isn't just, enlistments are going down and the military is considering foreigners and even mental people.
Our citizens are there when this nation needs them, but when the war is imperialistic, our people don't want to be a part of it.
