If you want to preserve it with clarity and technology of tomorrow you should look at a Tascam DVD recorder. This will record a SACD, which is what you want. You can rent one of these from a pr sound outlet near you, or check to see if any studios offer a copy service. You may pay $3 per tranfer that way, or you can purchase one from ebay, use it and resell it afterwords.
