Re: What's with Dish 129 ?

hello all... with all the issue with 129 i have read. I never trust the birddog I do it the old fashion way.. Me and my partner use a 2-way radio and pull signal in with the meter on the screen..We then check switch and get all 3 then try and even them out as much as poss.. if you hit 119 at 102% will get 129 at 75% to 80% or if you feel frogy and they don't need 61.5 take that and swing it around to 129 with the dish at 90 and elev. and 27 to 29 and you'll get 129 at 90% or better.. Sometimes we have to use a 2nd dish anyway because the reg 500 is just shooting over the trees and no 129 sat can get a signal. WE put the other 500 in a different spot or higher on the roof.. I have come to understand that people with hi-def tv system are very picky and bitch and mon over everything..get the 129 high and you'll never see them again.. Before you know it there will be a different dish out and we will all be -ucked again anyway.. Have a great day and a safe new year..
