That's why you have to buy an older Harley, when they were truly made in the USA. I have an 86' Low Rider FXRS and is made in the good old USA. At one point, I believe it was when they started making the Twin Cam 88 inchers, that the jugs, heads, etc. were cast in the same overseas factories that all the jap bikes use. It ain't Milwaukee steel anymore. For that reason the older ones will hold their value while the ones with jap parts will depreciate.
