Construction Area Manager - IN, OH

Scientific-Atlanta, headquartered in metro Atlanta, is at the forefront of

billion. We currently have exciting opportunities for Area Managers in Indiana and Ohio. These individuals will provide technical and project leadership for multiple locations. They will also be a key interface for Scientific Atlanta's customer.

Qualifications: 15 years experience in CATV/TELCOM
Engineering and construction to include
The following:

· Aerial constructions methods, standards and NEC codes

· Underground construction methods and standards

· OSHA codes and application of standards

· Detail knowledge of broadband HFC design concepts

· Detail knowledge of fiber design (mechanical)

· Vendor selection/inventory control

· Contractor selection/ management

Assignment: To manage and report the status of multi city build projects. Also to monitor and approve contractor invoices prior to payment by Client. Project consists of approximately 5 thousand miles of RF distribution and fiber interconnect.
