everyone in the Industry is always gonna have something to say about the other guy on the other side of the street..God made it work out that way. Its funny to hear a "PRE-WIRE SPECIALIST" talking about messing something up..90% of all panels I go to have 300-wires in a 10"panel or 5-wires in a 3'panel, and none of the cables or outlets are labeled. as far as watching 2-different programs at different locations with 1-rec..Theres a couple of ways to do it.. Just like when you mirror the video to different locations...The only place that sat anything can use a splitter...is after it hits the rec..Dish has a dual tuner for 2-rooms with 1-rec..Diplex or straight feed from Rec to TV#2.
Same concept instead of splitting Out to TV video feed for multiple TV's.
Split the 2nd tuner feed to multiple TVs..Dish won't tell ya it will work because they would loose money..You don't get full function at all locations...You can have it at 6-locations and watch different programs on 2..when you change tv#2 it will also change the other 4.. But it still beats a reg mirror.
