Here is my last reply on this matter vegsat,, I am self employed and have been for many years. I do what is known as CUSTOM HOME AUTOMATION. SMARTHOME SYSTEMS AND MANY OTHER TYPES OF CONTROLLED SYSTEMS LIKE LIGHTING CONTROL, WINDOW COVERING CONTROLS, TEMP CONTROL FOR BOTH POOL AND SPA EQUIPMENT AND OH YEAH THE A/C OR HEATING SYSTEMS. I have done satellite systems both dtv and dish even the short lived Voom hd system. I do know the codes for my line of work I mean you have to pass an electrical inspection during prewires and a final to make sure everything is up to code. But let me say that because I have installed dish and decided to further broaden my horizons and make more money and be home rather than traveling all the time I started my own company and work for,,, me. Now a hack is usually someone who does not have knowledge of what needs to be done other than what is taught in a book and oh yeah doing it right. Using the right tools for the job. Researching and learning attending training classes being certified and recognized by manufacturers as an AUTHORIZED MANUFACTURER CERTIFIED INSTALLER and attendance at trade shows at least 3 times a year and staying on top of the latest technological changes and preparing for the future changes,, hardly makes me a hack. And let me say in closing that I do appreciate the fact that you did respond to the best of your ability and knowledge of what you do.
