You can have as many remotes per box as you like. You can convert the TV 1 (green). You could have 6 rooms all on the tv 2 modulated channel and have a remote in each room. They all still will watch the same thing but not searching for the remote. I converted all my TV1 Green IR remotes to a TV1 Green UHF. Remember to address the remotes properly.
