I mount my dipole antenna on a piece of pvc pipe (hole?) that I then extend over my ladder rack and secure with large hose clamps. It of course works (receives) best on that side of the truck. I also mount it on a telescoping fiberglass (20ft) extension pole that I can walk under plant with. I do my day to day work with a monopole (magnetic) that I buy from comsonics (cut to freq of meter) mounted behind cab on top of tool body,this works well for finding and fixing esp with an external speaker so you can hear them well while tracking the scurvy rascals down! Many things can cause leaks loose port terminators is what pisses me most. Loose hsg to hsg will really scream because its usually higher levels,loose or bad drops,f-connectors,damaged plant,B.B."s they'll piss ya too. We work on leaks daily, year round, that keeps the plant clean and the man in black off yer butt!
