Re: 2 tv's from 1 reciever

If this is a smarthome wired house it should be a structured wire home, meaning that there are two rg6 lines and two cat5e lines at every outlet. if this is so and also pending on the receiver location and the type of receiver used regular ird or tivo, you should have the coax out to tv line open and the main tv should be wired component, hdmi or s-video. Anyway the signal can be sent back to the panel using the available coax line or if there is a tivo in place and both lines are used you can pick the sat 2 line and diplex that back to the panel and at the panel diplex and send the signal to the second or 3rd tv location in fact you can send that same video signal to any tv in the home using the appropiate splitter. I can send you a wiring diagram if you need just tell me how the system is wired room and what types of receiver(s) are being used . This can be done if you know how to do it. I would be more than happy to help just tell me how it is set up and I will send you a wire diagram and a list of the splitters or diplexers needed to get it done.
