Perfect statement. No doubt about it, either. I refuse to work for anyone with anything more than a 2 week hold and no retainage, why should anyone else?
All subs stick up for yourselves by telling any prime requiring you to finance his firm in this manner that you've been screwed once too many times and you won't let it happen again. Either the prime is financially able or he's biten off more than he can chew. Just say NO!
