Re: Diplexing?!?!

Here's the skinny! The diplexer is labeled sat in /ant in (or cable). At the D-marc the sat goes in to the sat side, the ant or cable goes in to the other. At the other end of the stick your flipping the diplexer to where the output is now the input. sat out goes to the sat receiver/ ant or cable goes to ant or cable. This is how it will work. Now, the problems you may be encountering! if there is another "splitter" somewhere (attic) it wont work with the sat. If there is a cable amplifier somewhere (attic) it won't work with the sat. You can feed an amp with another diplexer and have to double your diplexers but i used to charge the customer ( depending on the customer) 25 bucks each. pretty heavy except when you have to replace them for free! Best bet is to run your own line. Later, Mike M. Oh, yeah! The freq. varies from diplexer to diplexer. If cust has internet you have to have the 5-2150. 40-2150 wont get it as your return freq. is lower than 40. Good Luck, Mike M.
