The best way to hook up a modem inside the house box. Identify your dedicated modem line and hook all video lines on a splitter and run your high speed data line on a two way splitter that is jumped from the other splitter so your hsd line is on the 3.5 db on the 2 way splitter so it is dedicted to the 3.5 or you can use a dc6 to achieve the same effect for your return. You want your hsd on a strong return
