East211, IF you can put whatever color siding you want on that townhome without regard to the adjoining townhomes, THEN you own the whole home inside and out. HOWEVER, if your color choice must be approved before you have it installed (or even to install ANY siding for that matter) you DO NOT own the outside...you just pay for the upkeep of the outside. I would pretty much bet that the latter is what is the REAL case here.

Now with the latter being kept in mind, I would have absolutely no issue with mounting the dish where it is mounted IF it saved having to put holes in shingles...

Now with all that said, I would take the photograph to your HOA and see what they have to say about this matter as well as to clarify (in writing of course) your EXACT ownership boundries...Good Luck...
