Found a way to get CABL chat going if any 1 is interested. PRETTY COOL!!!




>i havent found anyone that has gotten cable chat to work but i have a way that we can chat and possibly then we could have an actual cable discussion. i will be in this chatroom @ 6:00 p.m. eastern standard time saturday june the 3rd, 2000. check it out, pretty cool! just follow these steps. the whole process takes about 45 seconds to do IF you follow these instructions. who knows, real live cable conversation and maybe make a friend or two or contact or just relaxing and telling a story or two. i think it will be interesting if we can get 4 or 5 guys to try this. heres the instructions(might wanna write 'em down, theres 7 steps, easy tho)
>1. go to www.geocities.com/southbeach/surf/7599/irc.html >2. the 1st screen click 'ok'.
>3. 2nd screen click 'ok'.
>4. 3rd screen it asks for chat server. type in IRC.CABL.COM
>5. 4th screen LEAVE the port server @ 6667. just click 'ok'.
>6. 5th screen DELETE roll-doggz, and TYPE IN CABL
>7. last screen leave blank and click 'ok'.
>thats it! super simple. I WILL BE ON TONITE, SATURDAY JUNE 3RD @ 6:00 P.M. EASTERN STANDARD TIME. i also got an e-mail from a cable dude in australia 2 days ago. this should be pretty cool if any1 wants to try it.
